Petite Studio
A new identity for fashion brand aimed at the petite woman, designed to gain a place in the highly competitive women’s fashion market in Mexico
Petite Studio is the name of a fashion brand sold exclusively in Mexican department store Liverpool. As the name suggests the clothes are designed for petite women, who want to be stylish, whatever their age, with modern and fashionable clothes.
The “petite” attitude is all about women who want to travel, meet new people, discover new places, enjoy surprises and be spontaneous.
We went about redesigning this brand from a different, original perspective. We wanted it to speak with a clear voice and gain a place in the highly competitive women’s fashion market in Mexico. So we used a specific graphic style to emphasise the brand essence, giving it distinction as well as a clear identity, to enable shoppers to locate it easily.
A small bird is the inspiration for the design of the symbol. Although petite the bird is powerful, and takes wing towards a world without limit. The visual language features soft acuarela colours, linking the brand with the environment, nature and romance.
The typeface is like a personal signature, and the visual language enriched with a natural, organic feel.
