Aviation round the world has changed. The traveller now looks for the best price available and demands more personal attention. Volaris came into being in 2006 with these two challenges in mind and the answer was the introduction of a low cost airline but with a level of personalized attention that was not expected in this industry.

The name Volaris is close to Polaris, the northern star that has for centuries provided the focus for navegation and guidance. Volar in Spanish means to fly, so changing just one letter makes the name even more significant. The pixels in the symbol are a reference to passengers who are planning their trip and making their decisions online. The black background is the dark night sky, the star shines even more brightly, directing our attention to the sky.
